Harriers do the Dash as Davies smashes record

A number of Sunderland Harriers took to the streets of Leeds and braved the cold winter temperatures to take part in the Abbey Dash 10km, writes Kevin Carr.

The popular race, known for its fast and flat course, once again attracted more than 10,000 runners, and this year formed part of the 2025 England Athletics 10km Championships.
First home for the club was Craig Gunn, posting a time of 32:29. He was followed by teammates Michael Rodenby (33:29), Jonathon Collins (34:10), Anthony Callaghan (35:15), Rob King (36:58) and club Team Manager Jimmy Johnson (49:58).
In the women's race, Amy Callaghan led the way with a time of 39.20. Solid performances also came from Danielle Coulson (41:30) and Charlotte Stidolph (42:38).
