DHL Stormers player Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is used to breaking lines on the rugby field, but off it, the rising star is now breaking barriers of a different kind.

The talented athlete has just been named Garnier's first sub-Saharan African male brand ambassador, a milestone that signals a powerful shift in how African men are showing up in conversations around beauty, grooming, and self-care.

Speaking to Sunday World this week, he said the moment is deeply personal. “Being named the first male brand ambassador for Garnier in sub-Saharan Africa is an incredible honour that goes beyond just a title. Growing up, you don’t always see men, especially athletes, represented in the beauty and skincare space. To be the first feels like a responsibility and a privilege. It’s a milestone that says, ‘you belong in this space’.
