MINISTER of Tourism Patricia de Lille has responded to the recent update issued by the US Department of State regarding its travel advisory for South Africa.
In light of the recent discussions between President Cyril Ramaphosa and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, and the wave of media coverage that followed, De Lille said: “While challenges such as crime exist - as they do across the globe — the overwhelming majority of international visitors experience safe travel in South Africa and leave with enriching memories.”
