Singh still wants to sell up and end Pools spell

OWNER Raj Singh has insisted he will support Hartlepool United financially as he continues his attempts to sell the National League club.
-
The controversial former Darlington owner has continued to draw criticism from Pools supporters in recent years and matters came to a head just over two years ago when he officially put the club up for sale after they were relegated from League Two.
Despite looking to step away, Singh has stood by his promise to ensure wages were paid across all onand off-field staff throughout that time - but an inability to push through any takeover means he remains a divisive figure.
A takeover agreement appeared to be edging closer earlier this year as the Herd International Group brought hope the club could finally be taken into new hands - but that fell through, much to the frustration of Pools supporters.
