Donington podium for racer Brad Perie

BRAD Perie arrived in the Pirelli National Superstock championship in style at Donington Park yesterday as he took a podium in his first race back.

Last week, Burning Rubber revealed a comeback was on the cards for the Cumbrian rider - but we got it slightly wrong, perhaps hopeful he would be back in the Superbike class with South Cumbria's DAO Racing.

Instead, Perie was last week announced at the IN Competition Aprilia squad in the Superstock class, while DAO opted for rookie Joe Talbot instead.

And Kendal’s Perie arrived in the series with a bang, heading straight into the top 10 before qualifying in fifth position for yesterday's race.
