US charm offensive for William and King

THE King and the Prince of Wales are thought to be planning visits to the US next year, on separate trips to woo Donald Trump.

Advanced talks on a visit by Charles are said to be under way, while William is set to make a separate visit during the World Cup later in the summer.

The visits would come as tricky negotiations over a UK trade deal with America continue - the royals are seen as the UK's secret weapon when it comes to diplomacy with the US.
