Legend Faxon: Mcllroy has everything... he'll get better with age like Nicklaus and Woods... whatever happens today

- BY NEIL MCLEMAN in Augusta

RORY'S A JACK OF ALL TRADES

RORY MCILROY has been compared to Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus because he is also getting better with age.

But the Ulsterman's putting coach Brad Faxon insisted winning the Masters this weekend will not “make-or-break” his career.

McIlroy is seeking to end his 11-year Major drought at Augusta and complete his career Grand Slam.

And Faxon reckons the four-time Major winner can already be considered on the same level of the two legends to achieve the feat because he has matured into a complete player.

“I have been lucky enough to be around one of the greatest guys - not just one of the greatest players - for the last seven years,” said former Ryder Cup star Faxon.

“He was known as a player that in order to win, he would have to be magical from tee to green with outstanding iron play. I think he is now a more 'complete player.
