HEALTH Secretary Wes Streeting has always said the NHS cannot be turned round overnight.

His 10-year plan to ensure it is fit for the 21st century could return it to being the world-leading healthcare provider it once was.

Mr Streeting also says he wants to look beyond hospitals and GPs to make the NHS more a prevention service than a sickness one.

Which is why the plan includes working closely with supermarkets and food producers.
