LUKE SET FOR HERR-RAISER

LUKE HUMPHRIES will bring out the iceberg to sink the Teutonic tonight, insisting he has no hang-ups about facing Germans on the big stage.

Six months ago, English pair Humphries and Luke Littler were knocked out at the first hurdle in the World Cup of Darts by Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko in front of a partisan German crowd in Dortmund.

And when Cool Hand Luke survived a thriller against Pietreczko on his way to winning the PDC World Championship two years ago, his celebration - aimed at a vocal section of German fans - spoke volumes for his relief.
