VAR farce as Joao and Enzo give Silva the Blues
JOAO PEDRO struck to inspire another Chelsea victory - in yet another match that was spoiled by VAR and the officials.
Fulham were eyeing consecutive victories at Stamford Bridge for the first time in their 146-year history.
But two crunch decisions went in the Blues' favour to decide the contest.
First Fulham starlet Josh King's opener was chalked off after Rodrigo Muniz innocuously stepped on the foot of Trevoh Chalobah.
Then, after the break, Enzo Fernandez scored a penalty awarded following a lengthy VAR review after Chalobah's cross hit Ryan Sessegnon's arm.
Crucially, prior to the incident Pedro had also handled, shoved Joachim Andersen and Moises Caicedo also caught Alex Iwobi.
