Shake-up leaves door ajar for old Sampdoria exec

WOLVES are reportedly in talks with former Sampdoria technical director Domenico Teti to join the management team at Molineux following the departure of Matt Hobbs after ten years at the club.

Hobbs had worked in a number of roles, including chief scout and head of recruitment, but a management shake-up sees the club move in a different direction.

Teti is someone familiar to manager Vitor Pereira, the pair having worked together for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Shabab last year.

Wolves said in a statement: "Matt Hobbs has left the club by mutual consent as part of a wider restructure of the football department.

"Hobbs, who joined Wolves in 2015, has spent the past decade working across a number of key football roles at the club.
