A MURDER investigation has been launched after a woman was tragically found dead at an address in Hereford.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Apple Tree Close, in Bromyard, at around 6am yesterday morning.

They discovered a 61-year-old woman at a property who was pronounced dead a short time later.

West Mercia Police have since arrested a 54-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
