Puss at death’s door after horrifying abuse is loving life in forever home as worrying rise in abuse revealed
KITTEN found “terrified” in a West Midlands home after suffering a broken skull among other physical abuse has found his forever happy home.
RSPCA rescuers discovered four-month old Berlioz following reports a kitten had been killed. The charity found a “terrified” Berlioz lying next to the corpse of another cat, Tiggy.
“Police found Tiggy lying on a cat bed in the kitchen with a terrified Berlioz sitting next to the body,” said an RSPCA spokesman. “Berlioz had a swollen head and blood on the right side of his neck. Police found small patches of blood on a wall at the top of the stairs and on some bedding, which it is believed was Tiggy’s blood. Officers seized Berlioz and placed him in RSPCA care and he was later signed over.
