VARDY COULD BE SENSATION AGAIN, BREN

PREMIER League winner Danny Simpson believes former Leicester City team-mate Jamie Vardy would be a revelation if he signed for Celtic.

Veteran hitman Vardy, 38, played his final game for the Foxes last Sunday after 13 years of loyal service at the King Power Stadium.

And Simpson, who played with Vardy in the Leicester side that famously won the 2016 Premier League title as 5000-1 outsiders, is confident his good pal would go down a storm in Scotland's top flight.

"He'd be brilliant for Celtic - and what a club that is," said Simpson.

"That could be a great move for him.
