Bren wants Hoops to give fans something to Brag about after silent protest against Hibees
BRENDAN RODGERS urged his Celtic side to ensure protesting fans have something to shout about against Braga after they hit another blank against Hibs.
The Hoops relinquished top spot to Hearts after the goalless draw which started with a 12-minute silent demo in the stands against the board.
That hush is planned to stretch to the opening 29 minutes of Thursday's clash with the Portuguese side in the Europa League.
And Rodgers, who was happy with his side's display despite a fourth stalemate of the campaign, insists it's on his players to bring the noise.
He said: "I can only focus on the football. That's the challenge, to give the fans that belief and hope we'll continue to improve.
"They'd have liked to have won the game and I want people coming away talking about football rather than silence and protests. After that 12th minute you felt the support and lift which can make a difference.
"We just need to really step it up in the final third.
