Labour's like the coward breaking up with a partner.. they're taking benefits from people and then telling them, 'It's not you, it's me'.

To varnish this with a sense of 'morality is insulting
-
WHO would have thought Donald Trump would be the man who restored “morality” to our welfare system.
For if we are to believe the UK Government's rationale for cutting benefits this week that is what he has done.
When the US president made it clear he wasn't going to stump up for the defence of Europe, every European country was challenged to spend more on defence.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer stepped up to the plate but then had to find the money.
First international aid was slashed - a false economy if we are trying to boost national defence - and now welfare.
But as ministers found £5billion to cut, they also discovered not just that welfare spending was going to make the country financially bankrupt, it is, in fact, “morally” bankrupt.
Giving people with disabilities benefits when - ministers have now decided - they could work is “immoral”.
They are doing the people who get benefits a disservice. So, they will help them to a better life by cutting their support.
Essentially like a coward breaking up with their partner, they are going to take benefits away from people saying: “It's not you, it's me.”
