Well toil as Lennon gets a breather

- BY ANDY MCGILVARY

MOTHERWELL toiled against League Two Clyde without Lennon Miller - but Jens Berthel Askou had no regrets about giving Scottish football's hottest property a day off in the sun.

Miller has been heavily linked with a big-money move out of Fir Park this summer and was left cooling his heels in the heat, as his teammates struggled at New Douglas Park.

When asked about the absence of the midfielder, new Well manager Askou said: “He has had a very busy summer with not that much rest, so we're still trying to load-manage him into getting ready for the season.
