Controversial Hibees leveller gets Fergie fuming as interim reign ends in more chaos with VAR taking centre stage
HIBS and Rangers produced another cracker at Easter Road - but yet again VAR took centre stage.
Martin Boyle's 66th-minute header earned David Gray's team a deserved point.
Rangers led twice through Cyriel Dessers and Nico Raskin - with a Kieron Bowie goal for the Hibees in between.
But before Bowie struck, Rangers were convinced they should have been 2-0 in front.
A Raskin effort looked clearly over the line before being cleared by Rocky Bushiri but ref Nick Walsh didn't see it.
He waved play on and Hibs went up the park and scored.
That left Barry Ferguson and Rangers livid, with the SFA claiming later there was no conclusive evidence to prove it should have been a goal.
The incident added spice to an clash with little at stake.
For Rangers, they'll be glad the campaign's over, while Hibs fans partied at the end as they get ready for Europe next term.
FERGIE FAREWELL?
It might be his last as Rangers boss but this game was just like most of Ferguson's in charge.
There were goals, defensive errors, controversy and plenty of animation on the touchline.
He showed his tactical flexibility again by playing with a diamond but Vaclav Cerny failed to shine in the No.10 role and they lacked proper width.
On the plus side, Raskin was excellent in midfield once more while Dessers scored again.
But again at the back Rangers looked ropey and Ferguson won't be happy with the goals they lost.
It's difficult to summarise his stint in the dugout.
