Heavenly Genesis GV60 has had a facelift & is sure to create quite a stir in the EV world

AM a sucker for a number plate so I was delighted when this Genesis GV60 turned up with a perfect plate - GV60 BEV.

It says it all. It's all electric (BEV), it's an SUV (V) and it fits in the small SUV segment (GV60).

Although having said small, I do not mean tiny - definitely not. This is a decent sized luxury SUV with bags of space - particularly in the boot which I reckon could easily take a pram and certainly a good-sized golf trolley.

The GV60 was the firm's first all-electric offering as part of its pledge to have a full electric range by mid-decade and this model is its facelifted version for 2026.

Some folk might call it a crossover but whatever the name it looks good with a clamshell bonnet, coupe-like rear and a bold front, sitting on nice big alloy wheels.
