The gelding was a well-backed 100/30 chance to land his maiden Grade 2 contest having landed his first three outings over timber in impressive style.

Paul O'Brien was keen to put the Flat-bred youngster's speed to good use and the duo set a scorching pace from the front in the two-mile contest.
