FAMILIES of those who died in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 flew to Glasgow last week for a private show of a play telling the story of unlikely bonds forged across the Atlantic in the aftermath of their loss.
-
Small Acts of Love opened in Glasgow's Citizen's Theatre, telling the stories of the relationships which sprung up between Scotland and America after a terrorist bomb exploded over Lockerbie.
The theatre was closed to allow grieving families to witness the play in private, starring Taggart actor Blythe Duff, penned by playwright Frances Poet and Deacon Blue songwriter Ricky Ross.
The show is the first production to be shown in the legendary Gorbals venue since a multi-million pound refurb and is the latest high-profile telling of the story after big-budget Netflix and Sky series this year.
Here, Paul English speaks to two people whose lives were changed forever on December 21, 1988.
FROM the moment this disaster happened, the Scottish people have taken care of us.
