Isla opens up on loss of her father

HOLLYWOOD star Isla Fisher has told of her emotional homecoming to Scotland after the death of her dad.

The Great Gatsby actress lost Bathgate-born Brian two years ago.

She lived in the West Lothian town until she was six before her family headed to Perth, Australia.

And the 49-year-old, whose latest movie Now You See Me Now You Don't is released this week, says the accents and mannerisms of Scots will forever remind her of her dad.

She added: “I visited in 2023 and it was the first time I visited since he had passed.
