City boss Leanne is small for league cut

GLASGOW CITY manager Leanne Ross believes that a smaller top flight will enhance Scottish teams' chances of making an impact in Europe.

The SWPL moves to a 10-team format this season with MD Fiona McIntyre optimistic it will lead to a fully professional top tier.

The immediate benefit for Ross, though, is the fact that fewer games should be a benefit.
