Belter berry cinnamon

WE might have been enjoying temperatures of 16C in many parts of Scotland recently but we have now started to hear the old "there may be a touch of frost in the glens".

This week, we had a cold wet day with nothing to do due to my daughter bringing home the first of the winter bugs.

A large pot of Lana's Soup was made - my friend's recipe that really is a hug in a bowl.

Butternut squash, sweet potato and a handful of other bits and bobs makes generous portions of velvety autumnal goodness.
