RUBEN AMORIM admits he feels “hurt” after his side suffered a humiliating defeat at Brentford that's piled more pressure on him.

United were 2-0 down inside 20 minutes, but regained hope when new £74million signing Benjamin Sesko got one back.

Skipper Bruno Fernandes missed the chance to make it 2-2 as his penalty was saved, with Brentford sub Mathias Jensen scoring a third to cap a miserable day for United.

Amorim has managed just 34 points from 33 games and failed to win back-to-back Premier League fixtures since taking over at United.

Defeat at Brentford was the Reds' third in the league this season after losses against Arsenal and Manchester City, with Amorim acknowledging his side’s continued failings.
