Filly stays on rise for all-conquering Burke

FALLEN ANGEL soared to her third Group 1 triumph in a row in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket.

Karl Burke's star was an 11/4 shot for the HQ showpiece after bagging the Prix Rothschild at Deauville and the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown recently.

James Doyle was extremely positive once again on the grey who made all down the centre of the track before switching left in the closing stages.

Blue Bolt (17/2) briefly threw down a challenge a furlong out but was no match for the winner who powered clear to score in style by two lengths.

The filly's main market rival Cinderella's Dream (11/8 Fav) plugged on late but still trailed home a well-beaten third.
