Niroshan Dickwella

All hell broke loose. Chandra Schaffter resigned in protest, calling out an unprecedented farce. The government stepped in, introduced the Sports Act and mandated that every national team required Sports Ministry approval a necessary set of checks and balances to stop cricket from becoming a self-selecting club.
