Trump gets his apology but will still sue the BBC for '$1billion to $5billion'

DONALD Trump says he will sue the BBC this week after it apologised but declined to compensate him for its misleadingly edited version of a 2021 speech broadcast by Panorama, writes Jaymi McCann.

The US President said he would seek “anywhere between $1billion and $5billion, probably sometime next week”.

In an interview with GB News yesterday he said: “I'm not looking to get into lawsuits, but I think I have an obligation to do it.

“This was so egregious. If you don't do it, you don’t stop it from happening again with other people.”
