Saudi switch net gain for Mitrovic

SERBIA striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is out to prove that his only currency is goals.

The former Fulham hitman was labelled a mercenary by fans after quitting the Londoners to quadruple his pay with a £400,000-a-week deal at mega-rich Al Hilal in 2023.

Despite the Saudi Pro-League being seen as a semi-retirement option for players hoping for a last payday at the end of their career, Mitrovic came in for criticism from fans as he was 28 and at the height of his goalscoring powers when he jumped ship from Craven Cottage in a record £50million deal.
