Lloyd Webber son loses cancer battle at just 43

Nicholas, who was 43 and also a composer, had recently been moved to a hospice after being diagnosed with the disease 18 months ago.
DEVASTATED Andrew Lloyd Webber last night announced his eldest son Nicholas has died from gastric cancer.
Oscar-winner Lord Lloyd-Webber said: “I am shattered to have to announce that my beloved elder son Nick died a few hours ago in Basingstoke Hospital. His whole family is gathered together and we are all totally bereft.”
Last Saturday the grieving father said he would miss the opening of Bad Cinderella at New York’s Imperial Theatre due to his son being in hospital.
