DESPITE all of her career success Sarah Beeny reveals she is hugely proud that her four sons have formed a successful indie rock band.

Life after cancer: 'I am lucky to be here, but now I'm ready to move on'

Billy, 20, Charlie, 18, Rafferty, 16 and Laurie, 15, have all inherited her drive and dry sense of humour, always evident in her TV shows.

After a backlash from a few people who saw them on television and commented on how privileged they were, they decided to name their band The Entitled Sons.

imageAnd with the help of dad Graham, who helps write the songs and plays bass, they have even performed at Glastonbury.

Sarah, 52, says: "They entered a competition, won it and that was the prize. They've just been on their second UK tour and they're recording 12 songs in 2025, which they will be putting out, one song a month.

"And they've got another European tour at the end of next year. It's full-on and they're doing really well.

"Graham writes songs with them and I follow them around. I'm a super-groupie! I stand behind the merchandise stall. They make all these T-shirts with screen prints.

imageIt's a lovely job because I don't have to think about anything. I just stand there. I think that's what I want to do in my retirement sell merch!" Her children feature prominently once again in the new eight-part series of Sarah Beeny's New Life In The Country, which starts on Channel 4 on Saturday.

Now in its fourth series, it has documented the family's move from London to Somerset in 2019, and their conversion of a semi-derelict 1970s former dairy farm near Bruton, surrounded by 220 acres of farmland, into the house of their dreams a modern, seven bedroomed carbon-neutral mini-stately home.

Sarah admits she is determined to make the most of every moment with her family and their new venture after announcing she had been diagnosed with breast cancer back in August 2022.
