Don't cancel comedy, says Jerk star

HE HAS been labelled “outrageous” and “un-PC”, but comic Tim Renkow is unrepentant about his brand of humour, insisting comedy should not be cancelled if it is funny.
Tim, who has cerebral palsy, returns to our screens this week with his BBC 3 sitcom Jerk.
The new series continues to push boundaries, with Tim encouraging actor James Norton to cruelly mimic his condition. The Happy Valley star plays an able-bodied actor who is asked to act out disabilities.
