Lionesses stunned by Brazil-liant blast from young prodigy

ENGLAND'S homecoming tour began in defeat as the two-time European champs lost 2-1 to 10-player Brazil at The Etihad Stadium.

Playing their first match since their latest tournament triumph, Sarina Wiegman's side paid the price for a poor start as they were undone by strikes from Bia Zaneratto and Dudinha.

Wiegman said: "Of course you hope for another result but I think this was a very good game to start with after the Euros against a very good opponent.

"I think that we got a lot of challenges that we really need to experience to improve."
