'Daleks' join the search for UFOs

IT SOUNDS like something out of Doctor Who but scientists have used instruments called Daleks to look for UFOs in our skies.

A new BBC documentary will probe how NASA investigates potential sightings of flying saucers.

For decades there have been thousands of reports from people claiming to have seen unidentified objects zooming above.

Experts dismissed these as weather balloons or drones but when US Navy pilots started reporting they too had seen things in the skies which they could not explain, alarm bells started ringing.

NASA declared in 2022 it would commission a study in the hope of proving the existence of extraterrestrials.
