Stirling Observer

June 04, 2025

Playoff-winning experience was the latest item on Stirling Albion boss Alan Maybury's summer shopping list as the Binos announced their latest capture.

Former East Fife defender Stewart Murdoch will join up at Forthbank for next season after securing promotion for the Fifers out of the end-of-season nerve-shredding playoffs.

The 34-year-old has racked up almost 500 appearances in senior football in a career which began at Falkirk in 2011 and has also taken him through spots including Dundee United, Fleetwood Town, Northampton Town and Ross County.
