Fun in the sun for kids at Rotary event
Stirling Observer
|June 27, 2025
Rotary Club of Carse of Stirling members were delighted to see exceptionally clement weather, when they held their annual Rotary Children's Funday for children with additional needs at Bridgehaugh recently.
-
The event was well attended by local schools and hundreds of children came along accompanied by a number of carers. Attendees enjoyed a day of free food, drink, bouncy castles, slides, cycle rides and many other activities.
The emergency services attended and delighted kids by letting them play with their vehicles.
Large audiences were spellbound by attractions like balloon man Paul Clark and Sandy Taylor of Garden Trains.
Club President James Barker showed Stirling's Lord Provost Elaine Watterson round the event and activities. Provost Watterson thoroughly enjoyed seeing the smiles on the faces of the children and carers.
