If you read this column regularly you'll know that Stirling is full of superlatives but not hyperbole...honest!
Time and time again my thoughts and my eyes turn to the magnificent Stirling Castle, the most magnificent jewel in our crown.
Stirling Castle was built to expand Scotland, as Alba (as Scotland was first called) pushed south into Northumbria and Strathclyde.
