KVK Reasi organises training programme for tribal farmers

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi under the aegis of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) conducted one day training programme on ‘Entrepreneurship development in rural areas’ here at Jadh village in Reasi distt. of J&K which was enthuasistieally attended by a number of tribal farmers of the village

The objective of the programme was to uplift the tribal communities by promoting commercial agricultural practices, income generating activities and offering improved agricultural practices. The programme was organised under the dynamic stewardship of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. B.N. Tripathi and able guidance of Director Extension (DE), Prof.Amrish Vaid of SKUAST-J. Dr. Banarsi Lal,Chief Scientist &Head of KVK, Reasi initiated the programme with the warm welcome of the participants.
