Among the recipients, Dr. Ratnakar Sharma HOD Surgery GMC Jammu was conferred with the prestigious "Best Doctor Award" in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the field of surgery and patient care.

Dr. Ratnakar Sharma currently serves as Professor and Head of the Postgraduate Department of Surgery at Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu. Dr. Sharma has emerged as a prominent and respected figure in Jammu's medical community. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh awarded him with this honour today at Taj Vivanta hotel in a ceremony organsied by BiG FM 92.7. An alumnus of GMC Jammu, Dr. Sharma completed his Master of Surgery (MS) before pursuing super specialisation in MCh Plastic Surgery from the prestigious JJ Hospital in Mumbai.
