Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar and Inspector General of Police Bhim Sen Tuti on Friday visited Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagarthe Amarnath Ji Yatra Jammu base camp and took stock of facilities and arrangements being put in place for the comfortable stay of the pilgrims.

The Divisional Commissioner and IGP Jammu along with Senior officials from CRPF, JK Police, Civil administration and HoDs took a round of the Yatri Niwas complex and assessed the pace and quality of ongoing works.

Chairing a meeting afterwards, the Divisional Commissioner and Inspector General of Police conducted a thorough review of the arrangements made by the concerned departments. They issued necessary instructions for effective implementation of their respective action plans envisaging augmentation of civic amenities, security set up and improved services by using digital technology.
