ALERT AND INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY (IRCS) TAMIL NADU BRANCH INK MOU TO PROMOTE FIRST AID AWARENESS AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS IN TAMIL NADU

Chennai: ALERT, an NGO with a vision to enable the emergency response eco system to assure basic first response during the Golden Hour and driven by the goal given for it by the former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who said, “Train one in every family in emergency care”, has been diligently training the common man across India in the last 19 years.

Headquartered in Chennai, ALERT is an invited member of the acute care action network of the World Health Organization and is part of the core committee formed by Govt.of India to build a framework for “First Aid for the Community” along with WHO and AIIMS.
