WALES and Lions scrumhalf Tomos Williams is at the centre of a major transfer tug-of-war, with Gloucester battling to keep hold of their star man amid reported interest from the new R360 competition, according to RugbyPass.

The 30-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Kingsholm, having joined the Cherry and Whites from Cardiff on a two-year deal in 2024.

Williams (pictured) was crowned Premiership Rugby Player of the Season in his debut campaign and went on to earn selection for the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia this summer - one of only two Welsh players, alongside Ospreys flanker Jac Morgan, to make Andy Farrell's squad.
