What! is happening at store?

A FORMER Wilko store in Swansea county appears on its way to reopening in a new guise after shutting its doors in 2023.

While the unit has been listed for a long period of time, it now appears that a new retailer will soon be calling the site its home.

The unit at 44-50 Woodfield Street, Morriston, had been home to national homewares retailer Wilko until around two years ago but shut shortly after the company went into administration on August 23, 2023 - triggering store closures and job losses across the UK.

The Morriston store had to finally close its doors on September 14, 2023.

The site has since remained empty.
