Unlucky Ringrose ruled out of finale

IRELAND centre Garry Ringrose has been ruled out of the British and Irish Lions' final Test against the Wallabies as the tourists declared they would name as strong a side as possible to go in search of a historic 3-0 series win.
With their status as series victors already safe after the dramatic victory at the Melbourne Cricket Ground last Saturday, it could be easy for the Lions to ring the changes for the final Test. However, having spoken about a 3-0 series win often throughout this tour, there’s still a considerable amount riding on Saturday’s game for the Lions.
Centre Ringrose, having withdrawn himself from the team for the second Test due to concussions symptoms, will cruelly be denied a first Lions Test cap after he was officially ruled out of the third Test.
"For this time of tour it’s amazing how many people we've got available," said assistant coach Andrew Goodman. "Unfortunately Garry has been ruled out of this Test match, but we have Mack (Hansen), Joe (McCarthy) and Sione (Tuipulotu) all out there running today, so they're in contention.
"They all completed their rehab today and got through the team bits they needed to. He (Ringrose) has return to play protocols, a 12-day return to play after his concussion."
