Swans coy on rap star's future with club

SWANSEA City's ownership group have suggested American rapper Snoop Dogg could well be set for further involvement in the club, after helping to launch their new home shirt this weekend.
The Swans put social media into a frenzy by posting a picture of Snoop wearing the kit for the new season, along with a short video, with some rather predictably left speculating whether he might well be about to invest in the club.
Swansea have refused to confirm whether the 53-year-old is about to buy a stake in the club, but have since hinted that he could well be involved once again in the near future.
"We appreciate the considerable interest and enthusiasm generated by Snoop Dogg's appearance in a Swansea City shirt," Swansea City's ownership group said in a statement.
