IN ROUND one of the Open Cup, Clase Social ended a poor run of form that saw them join those clubs threatened with relegation from the top flight of the Swansea Senior League.

Playing a Cwm Albion side that were in great league form, Clase needed a great start and went 1-0 up after just three minutes when Jack Stock opened his account for the afternoon. The match was effectively over as a contest when Kyle Campbell and Chris Edwards made it 4-0 after just 20 minutes.

A bad day for Cwm Albion got even worse when Edwards got his second goal of the first half and made it 5-0.

Paul Reed's consolation goal in gave Albion something to show for their efforts but in a second half that saw Cwm Albion have three players sent off and two more pick up yellow cards, further goals from Stock, who completed his hat-trick, and Ethan Wahab saw Clase complete a 7-1 win for their first victory since mid-October.

Cwmfelin Press and Ragged School were regular Cup Final opponents at one time, but now both sides play in the First Division and came into their match at opposite ends of the table.
