Roadworks warning on key route out of city

ROADWORKS are to take place on a key gateway in and out of Swansea for 23 weeks.

Neath Port Talbot Council says that starting from Monday, June 30, essential drainage improvement works will begin on Fabian Way between the Jersey Marine junction (Amazon Roundabout) and the M4 slip road.
The work is being carried out to address persistent flooding issues that regularly affect the eastbound carriageway, cycle path and lay-bys during periods of heavy rainfall.
The council says the flooding “poses a significant safety risk to road users”.
