REBEL LEAGUE TARGETS WALES STARS LRZ AND MORGAN

LOUIS Rees-Zammit has reportedly signed up to join rugby's new rebel league.

The Daily Mail says the Welshman has already agreed to be part of the new R360 breakaway league that will rip up the sport as we know it if it gets off the ground in 2026.

Rees-Zammit will be one of the big names to take part, but will first sign a one-year deal with a team in England or France.

The new league is being fronted by England World Cup winner Mike Tindall, former Bath director of rugby Stuart Hooper and agent Mark Spoors, among others.

The idea is to create 12 new franchise teams that will play fixtures around the globe, with the best players in the world prime targets.

A raft of England internationals have already signed up, while we understand Wales' top players are also in the mix.

Players are set to be offered huge deals believed to be worth up to £740,000 a season.
