Anti-social behaviour is down for second year
South Wales Evening Post
|November 04, 2025
REPORTS of antisocial behaviour during the summer period have fallen for a second year in a row in Swansea city centre.
This year Swansea Council worked with South Wales Police and other partners to provide opportunities for young people to participate in activities and socialise safely.
Figures show a 12.1% reduction in reported antisocial behaviour in 2025, which follows a 38% reduction during the school holidays in 2024.
Recently, activities took place at the popup Collaboration Station in St David’s Square where the council and police worked with more than 60 other partners.
It saw 98 different events, activities and workshops, with the most popular being an inter-generational festival which attracted more than 900 young and older people for a day of music and performances.
