A Bath-based family business has taken on a closed pub in the city which they hope to put “back into the heart of the community.”

The Walcot Group - who own Walcot House, Solina Pastam and Green Street Butchers in Bath - has submitted a planning application to Bath and North East Somerset Council for a major renovation of the White Hart in Widcombe. The grade-II listed pub was built in the early 18th century but closed in 2024.
